150 Years of Forestry in SA
For a century and a half, South Australia has proudly led the way in establishing plantation forestry, with the first official tree plantings beginning as early as 1876. To celebrate this remarkable milestone, SAFPA and our members are hosting various commemorative events, sharing historical insights, and inviting the broader community to learn more about the lasting impact of forestry on our state and our nation.
